Turns out she had no idea what an annotated bib was. Wikipedia had a great overview, which I printed out for her. Suggested she add articles to the books she had already found for a good blend to her bib.
After we found several of these in the MLA and America History & Life and emailed them to her, she confessed that she had to do a 1200-word paper on the same topic, also due tomorrow, but that the Atwood book completely mystified her. We went to the Gale's Lit Resource Center, which provides handy overviews to works of literature, and emailed her five of these.
Finally, I showed her how to find the MLA Style Guide via our home page, and provided my email address for use in case she got stuck.
