Sometimes the system tries to print to the manual feed. When you walk over the printer, is the system monitor button on the LCD display flashing? Click on system monitor, and choose the appropriate paper drawer (8.5 x 11 or legal) and the print job will print.
You can also have the user define the paper size at the computer. Have the user select print, then look at the settings. Select "letter" or "legal", then print. The printer will process the job properly when sent.
